A Sleepover is when a support worker is required to stay overnight at a participant's home as part of their shift. It must start before midnight covers a period of at least 8 consecutive hours and includes up to 2 hours of active support. There is a set rate for this support within the NDIS pricing arrangements.

Active overnight supports are when the support worker is awake and assisting the participant with disability-related needs continuously through the night. This is charged on an hourly basis with maximum rates set within the NDIS pricing arrangements.
We recommend checking with your support coordinator and plan manager first to ensure there is available funding for these supports before proceeding and of course, always implement a service agreement beforehand so that all parties understand their commitments.
